Inside JAX’s Kundalini Activation Training
Kundalini energy is one of the most powerful life forces we can experience in the body. It is both deeply transformative and profoundly grounding when approached in the right way. At JAX, our kundalini training is designed to help facilitators not only understand this energy but also learn to work with it in a safe, embodied, and trauma-informed way.
Many people ask, what is kundalini and how can training in this field prepare me to hold space for others? The truth is that Kundalini energy is not something to be mastered or controlled. It is a current of life force that moves through the body, bringing healing, release, and expanded awareness. Our role as facilitators is not to direct it, but to create safe conditions for it to move.
This is the foundation of JAX’s approach to kundalini training – teaching practitioners to trust the intelligence of the body and to hold grounded, compassionate containers for others on their journey.
Why JAX Created This Training
I created this program because I saw a gap in the way Kundalini work was being shared. Too often it was either positioned as mystical performance or reduced to surface-level practices. What was missing was a trauma-informed lens, a deep respect for the nervous system, and a structured pathway for facilitators to grow into confident guides.
Our kundalini teacher training is built for people who are already on their own healing path. It is not a quick certification, but a layered process that requires personal embodiment before facilitation. We believe you cannot safely hold this work for others until you have allowed it to reshape your own body, mind, and spirit.
What Makes JAX Training Different
At JAX, we do not see training as information transfer. We see it as transformation. The difference lies in how we structure the program:
Embodiment first – Trainees spend 6–8 months engaging in regular sessions, learning how their own system responds to energy.
Trauma-informed practice – Every element of the training acknowledges the role of the nervous system and the importance of safety.
Integration of modalities – Alongside energy work, we include breathwork, bodywork, and somatic practices that make the experience grounded.
Community support – Trainees are guided by experienced facilitators and supported by a global network of practitioners in training.
This is not just about learning techniques. It is about becoming the kind of kundalini practitioner who embodies the integrity, humility, and wisdom needed to guide others.
Inside the Training Journey
The journey is carefully structured to balance online learning with immersive in-person practice.
Online study – Trainees begin with modules on safety, trauma awareness, energy systems, and facilitation principles. These lay the intellectual foundation while encouraging daily embodiment practices.
Virtual sessions – Students have uncapped access to group online sessions where they can experience the method in real time and track their own unfolding.
Six-day Bali immersion – The heart of the training is held at our retreat space in Uluwatu. Here, participants spend six intensive days in the shala practising facilitation, receiving initiations, and working with one another in a deeply held environment.
Post-training support – After the immersion, graduates join ongoing calls and roundtable discussions to continue refining their skills and receiving mentorship.
This balance ensures that the training is not just a one-time event, but an ongoing process of growth and integration.
The Role of the Nervous System
One of the most important things we teach is that the body must feel safe for energy to move. Without this, the process can overwhelm or shut down. By bringing in somatic and trauma-aware approaches, we ensure facilitators know how to recognise signs of dysregulation and respond appropriately.
This is what sets our kundalini training apart. It is not just about energy techniques but about understanding the human system as a whole. Facilitators graduate with the confidence to meet people where they are, whether they are carrying deep trauma or simply seeking a new level of self-awareness.
Who This Training Is For
This is not a training for everyone. It is for those who feel a genuine call to this work, who are ready to engage in their own deep healing, and who want to bring integrity to the way they hold space for others.
Some trainees go on to become full-time facilitators. Others integrate the training into existing practices such as therapy, yoga, coaching, or bodywork. Many find that the experience reshapes not just their work but their whole way of being.
If you are curious about kundalini yoga training, but want something that goes beyond movement and breath alone, this program may be the path you have been looking for.
The Bali Experience
A highlight of the journey is the in-person immersion at our retreat space in Bali. The environment itself is designed for deep work: a purpose-built shala, quiet accommodation, nourishing farm-to-table meals, and wellness facilities that support integration such as the sauna and ice bath.
This Bali kundalini retreat element is not just about the training schedule. It is about giving yourself the space to fully immerse in the work, away from daily distractions. Many describe it as a turning point in their personal and professional lives.
Life After Training
Graduates of JAX’s kundalini training do not leave with just a certificate. They leave with a lived experience of what it means to embody this work. They know how to create safe spaces, how to navigate complex emotional releases, and how to facilitate with integrity.
Many go on to lead their own sessions, retreats, or workshops. Some collaborate with us at JAX. Others weave the skills into their existing healing practices. Regardless of the path, they carry with them a unique approach that is grounded, compassionate, and trauma-informed.
The call to become a facilitator of Kundalini energy is not one to take lightly. It requires courage, humility, and a willingness to walk through your own healing first. At JAX, we believe this is the only way to prepare you to truly hold others in their process.
If you feel the pull, perhaps it is because your own system is ready to step into a new chapter. Our training is here to guide that journey – not as a quick fix, but as a lifelong unfolding into deeper presence, power, and purpose.
